Smart Leather Ltd. was founded in 1987 from the initiative and the creativity of MariaTomassini.
Set in San Mauro Pascoli, manufacturing area well known worldwide for the production of high-end shoes and leather accessories, the company started its activity producing footwear and accessories for the most prestigious names in the panorama of international fashion.
In 2005, thanks to the skills and the know-how learned over time, the company launched its first own collection of leather accessories, using as brand name the surname of the founder: Tomassini. This new challenge is led by Roberta Alessandri, daughter of Maria Tomassini.
In 2006, Tomassini begins to export its handbags, clutches and accessories worldwide, enjoying particular success in Russia, where the brand is now present in over 60 stores in Moscow.
